Argh, I really really want to go for SINGFEST, just for Jason Mraz.

WHY ARE THE TICKETS SO EXPENSIVE??? He’s performing on day 2, Sunday.. along with others like Alicia Keys and OneRepublic and Panic At The Disco etc but you know whaaaattt… I only want to see him.

He is so yummy.

Movie marathon with Zhan & Dawn today didn’t go quite as planned when it threatened to turn into some sort of eating marathon.

They arrived at my place waaay too early and chased me down with a string of nonsensical text messages that kept me laughing and unable to get ready to run out of the house! And then said that they were hungry and wouldn’t mind some roasted seal. SO EVIL!!

I found a particularly bright polar bear today!!! Too bad, he was camera-shy. HAHA.

Lunch was at a supposedly famous laksa place in Yishun, but boyyy was it completely disappointing. Have you ever had bland laksa?? I didn’t think it was possible. Plus, the carrot cake was bad too. SOB.

Feeling sad and grumpy with lunch, we decided to drop by Tampines’ Ikea on the way to Zhan’s place so that we could all end our crap meal with something nice – the soft serve ice cream from Ikea!

BUT NOOOO. The ice cream was SALTY today!!! WTH. Very very saddd.

Armed with a bag of rubbish snacks, we headed off to Zhan’s place where I discovered his VERY VERY VERY comfortable pillows!!! OMG, I nearly fell asleep watching the movies. HAHAHA.

We watched Stranger than Fiction which I enjoyed! The animation fit very well into the film, and warped as the film may be.. it had a good ending, something lacking in too many films.

After that was Closer cos Dawn wanted to watch it. I didn’t because I knew it dealt with cheating and unfaithfulness and that just scares me.
Twisted, and very warped.. Not in a nice way. I heard very good reviews when it was released in the cinemas, but I don’t know.

Jude Law is very very yummy though. So gorgeous, in spectacles.. complete with a British accent and sense of humour. Heh heh. Well, he was gorgeous in the first 5 minutes of the show anyway, until his character ruined it.

Only 2 movies cos erm, of our mini eating marathon.

I headed off to Dawn’s place after that, YAYNESS. Hahaha! Very fun, I likey.

Dinner was hokkien mee from a stall that I’ve eaten from before and like.. BUT IT WAS BLAND TONIGHT. Gah! Bet the laksa spoilt my tongue sob sob.

While I was on Dawn’s laptop, a fight broke out.

Hahahahaha. I don’t quite know what started it, something about Marcus attempting to stick a stamp on Dawn’s eyes, literally.

Fwaaah. Check out the moves man!!!

Awww, poor Marcus. Don’t worry, he fought back after that. Hahaha it was hilarious watching them, and I really couldn’t stop laughing!

After Marcus pranced out of the room, leaving Dawn squealing and myself still laughing, I told her that was like watching Kelv & I fight. Explains the bruises. ORH HOR see la, animal abuse. Hahahahaha.

Photobooth is a good reason to camwhore, and thurs Ariel the 3-eyed monster was born.

After a whole year, Dawn still manages to look the funniest in Photobooth photos. HAHA

Everyone should know Pip and Skip by now right?

There they are! Pip’s on the left with the orange scarf, and Skip’s the one with the blue scarf. Yes, they’re both polar bears and I live in constant fear.

Anyways, Pip was sent to me as a Christmas present last year. His birthday’s on the 10th of December, as recently discovered by the PinkPolarBear who went to check when he ~~purchased~~ adopted him. Hehe. He is super soft and smells very nice (cos he smells like me) and I really really wish he was real. He’s a lovely bear to hug, especially when the PinkPolarBear was 10,000km away.

Skip was sent to me a few months ago, but only for safekeeping til the PinkPolarBear got back. His birthday’s on the 21st of April. Hehe. He is very much similar to Pip, but has shorter fur and a wider smile. I reckon he could get away with murder! Just today, he acted sad and I smiled without realising, much to the PinkPolarBear’s amusement cos he went “HEART MELT ALREADY!!!!” Hahahaha.

Pip stays with me and his many other elliefant friends.
Skip stays with Kelv, with not so many friends. You’d think Skip would be spared the torture of being turned into a camwhore cos he’s not staying with me, right? You are sooo wrong.

Check out what happened one day when the PinkPolarBear got bored at home!

Hahahaha isn’t he so incredibly cute??? I can’t take photos of Pip like this cos his scarf can’t be untied. The most I can do is make Pip look like he’s wearing a turban by placing his scarf on his head. HAHA.

Oh and I didn’t like my pasta today, so I don’t care.. I’ll make it again another day to make up for it. Haha.

Yay, lovely weekend ahead! I can’t wait! Hehe.

How wonderful is that! To have an awesome Sunday AND Monday! Hehe

Let’s see.. On Sunday I went for service, during which I updated Pam & Wanwan. Like I was sharing with Clara and Dawn, it’s lovely when you know that some people are genuinely happy for you, unlike the ones who get jealous whether or not they say it. It’s one thing to be envious, and another to be jealous. It’s sad, really.

But anyways, when I paused to take notes of the sermon, Wanwan faced the stage and stated smiling to herself. I asked what’s she smiling about, and she replied, “Nothing, just very happy for you.”
Aww man! It was so matter-of-fact, the way she said it.. and that just made it even sweeter. Hehe.

After service, I went over to Dawn’s place but not before Dawn, Claire and I went on a mama-shop expedition! Hahaha. They have so many near their block, it’s insane! We went to 3 different ones and bought random snacks and ice cream! Hehehe, of course, that made me very happy. Going to their place makes me faaaat!

Just hanging around in Dawn’s place makes me very happy and contented! Her siblings amuse me and there’s just always something to do, even if it’s nothing at all. Heh heh.

We Skyped with Steph, and then with Van & Ling! Hehehehe.
And then camwhored somemore!

We had dinner together at a nearby coffeeshop with her family and grandparents, sans Marcus. I likey family dinners! Hahaha. I mentioned that they now have an adopted daughter and Claire commented that they have a few – me, Rachel and Vivienne. Hahaha.

I stayed over because I was lazy to travel home, and I was going to meet Dawn the next day ANYWAY. Hur hur.

My lovely Monday! We woke up at 3pm, ate chee cheong fun (!!! I LOVEEE. Awesome start to my day ALREADY!), watched and laughed at silly drama serials on Channel 8, squealed at stalker-ish tendencies of people and then rushed out of the house.

Dinner with Zhan and Dawnie and the Pink Polar Bear!
THEY ARE EVIL. Zhan and Kelv gang up against me and all Dawn did was sit around quietly laughing at me. You were supposed to rescue me!!!!

Overwhelmed by food at dinner again, as I usually am when dining with polar bears. Must be part of their evil plans to either a) distract me from being hunted or b) fatten me up before I become dinner.

The PinkPolarBear & I caught Penelope after that. Well actually I made him catch it with me without telling him what it’s about hahaha. Chick flick, yo.

It was a sweet movie, albeit forgettable.
The lead has lovely blue eyes. I mentioned that he has damn nice eyes, only to be retorted with, “But I have pretty eyes too!” Heh heh, so cute.

Y’know, I usually don’t really like watching movies as an outing with friends. It’s usually agenda-driven (watching the movie), and you don’t get to talk much during the film.
It’s usually a meal or just chilling out, over a movie as a choice of what to do when I meet up with friends.

But you know what?
You’re my favourite person to watch movies with.
Because somehow when I watch movies with you, it isn’t just about the film. The film can be forgettable or average, hell it can even suck, but I’d still have fun somehow.

And plus, it’s really very nice knowing that I’m your favourite person to watch movies with too :]

Alright, now.. I’m hungry. Who wants to buy me some goreng pisang???

MY BLOG IS BACK!!!!

I couldn’t access my admin page for quite a few days, much to my panic and sadness. Haha.
It still has random errors here and there cos it keeps running out of RAM, wth!

But ANYWAY, thank you very very very much Junyi for helping me try to fix it for the longest time!

I am starving like craaaazy so I shall go get some food and then sleep!

Today was awesome, shall update another day!
Have so much updating to do! There’s also the RUNNING HOME retreat that is over and went great! Hehe. :)))

No, I didn’t die in some obscure corner of the world.. I’m still very much alive! Realised that I haven’t popped by to greet the world in awhile. Nothing much to say! Haha. I either have too much on my mind, or I’m too happy. Heh heh.

It could be a combination of both though. Lol.

Today was awesome! Happy lunch at Ikea (Meatballs! Chicken wings! Potato salad!) + a chirpy walkabout of the place + my first time trying their soft serve ice cream. That totally rocked my socks cos it tasted like caramel! Hehehe. And of course, just time with you.

& you see, I wasn’t being biased when I said all the other blue elliefants in Ikea sound weird! They really do!

We nearly adopted a stuffed doggy home cos he looked SO SAAAAD. Photos when I get them!

It’s a wonder how a couple of happy text messages at the beginning of the day have the power to influence the mood and feel for the whole day. :))

And thank you for cooking today! YAY!
Although that made me eat A LOT. Boo. I am turning into a fat seal, REALLY. And it’s not a pretty picture, I’m warning you!

& I love that you’re happy cos I’m happy and well I’m happy cos you make me happy! *squish!*
I also love that you’re my bear. Comfy.

Breakfast at 8am tomorrow, before combined service.

I just watched a thousand episodes of How I met your mother.

The pink bear’s sick again..
He passed me his flu and I think I passed it back to him although hypothetically that’s not possible cos you can’t catch the same flu twice. He thinks it’s the weather. No matter, I just hope he gets well soon, so poor thing.

I told him Hana caught the flu bug from me (and I’m terribly sorry and I also miss you terribly even though it’s only been a couple of working days so I hope this makes you smile when you read this in the morning Hammy), and all he could say was, “YOU KISSED HANA TOO?!”

HAHAHA! I like it that you make me laugh.

I’m in love with Ed Stevens. Not Tom Cavanagh, the actor who plays Ed Stevens in Ed, but Ed himself.

After just the pilot episode of Ed, I remembered why I love the show so much.

So I’m sick. *sulk*
My nose hurt yesterday and tadaaaah, I woke up sniffing and feeling feverish.
Uhhhh.. I felt cold when I was in the sun. SURELY there’s something wrong with that picture.

I told Tania that I was sick, and she said she had a song for me:
