You know how it is when your favourite person says Hi How’s Your Day, and everything bad just melts away? Simply because that alone made you smile in front of your phone or computer. Or when you’re in the middle of crying so badly because of the circumstances, because of the distance, because of everything that the distance brings with it and takes away, because you just want him around right there right now just to hold you and make everything better… and then he says just what you wanted to hear even if you didn’t know it, especially when you didn’t expect it. What makes it all the better is the depth and love and heartbeat that came with what was said, that you just know they weren’t empty words said just for the sake of it. And how about that warm fuzzy feeling that just fills you up completely because you felt so utterly taken care of even from 10,000km away? Simply because despite having work to do, and being tired and all that jazz, he chose to stay on the phone with you from the time you were sitting around waiting to sober up til the time it took to get a cab and drop three friends off at three different locations til the time you were finally safely back in your own room on bed, and all this time, you were rambling on and on in inebriation.
The words fill this space and I could go on forever and yet still feel like these words don’t even begin to justify the depth of anything I am trying to express but still, i love you, love.

The temperature in the insane room we were in got too much for us to take, and so Liwei, Andee, Charmaine and myself took our computers and shifted to work in the meeting room because the air con here is working.

The last known temperature of our former office room was 32.5 degrees.

The office air-con is down, AGAIN. It’s been going insane over and over for the past 2 weeks or so. It’s now totally not working and I’m working in a sauna. Trying to work, that is.

Apparently there’s some leak somewhere but they have no idea where, and hacking work might be needed to fix this.

The best part of all this?? NO ONE WILL CARRY OUT THE HACKING COS IT’S CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG.

In all cases where such photographs are used, MICA reserves the right to do so without obtaining the further prior permission of the Entrant, and without offering any further compensation of any form. However, where any photograph is reproduced in print, the photographer will be credited.

I’ve heard a bunch of people rave about the Camerabag application for the iPhone and I finally tested it out properly today. Must say I’m quite impressed.

Michelle has been lovely (and very strange but very much like me haha) and I really thank God for her! For making my Thursdays when I attempt to pick up drawing lots of fun. She’s helping me plan out my entire portfolio – I honestly would feel a lot more lost than I do now about the whole thing is she wasn’t around to help me out, hehe.

PMS is a bitch. So is deriving completely no satisfaction from figuring out how to complete one of the rare tasks that isn’t brainless after all.

You know, when things are a wrong fit, no matter how you try to make it work… they just won’t fit. It’s a matter of time before it snaps, no?

I’m extremely highly-strung these days, can you tell? Haha. Sigh. Not sure what’s worse – feeling lifeless or being volatile.

But anyway.
I realised that you’ve never met my somewhat new colleagues, so here they are. I work mostly with 3 designers – Liwei, Andee and Charmaine.

They’re an insane bunch with an immensely ridiculous range of music tastes that amuses me to no end, just because of the variety of songs I get to listen to at work..

From Spice Girls to Britney to Muse to M2M to random R&B, rock, punk rock, Chinese emo potatoe songs to TRANCE (to my horror and Pinkie’s delight). Hahahaha.. and then more recently, an insane loop of the LONDON CHOCOROLLLLL tvc and the Ponyo theme song. WTH!

Liwei wouldn’t shut up the other day so we finally took action and masking-taped him into muffled silence. HAHAHA.
