This photo was taken one day in school, whilst waiting for class to begin. He is insane and ridiculously funny. And also angsty and angry this semester because of the workload.. Hahaha!

We both love ABC chicken rice, and he is also king of the palace which serves the best Indian food around, as the photo below suggests…

O yes, comments containing guesses for my little Photographie Project contest have been screened. They’ll be revealed tomorrow night! Hehe. You can still make your guesses!

Finally managed to meet up with Hana the Hammy earlier this week! *hops about* Been ages since we’ve met cos we’re always so insanely busy. That, or either one of us will randomly feel broke or anti-social. LOL. *HUGGGIEEE* I’ve really really missed you A LOT A LOT you know? Hehe.

We met up to study / get some work done, and I spent most of the time trying not to fall asleep and staring longingly at coffee which I was trying not to spend on. Pft! Haha. I miss sitting next to you in the office and giggling nonstop at EVERYTHING! Boohoo.

She said my eyes smile when I smile! Make me happy only. But I likey. Hahahaha!

This one week break from school (ok la, it is officially called Project Week, haha) has been quite good, although I spent a good part of it crying at home.

But! I also spent a good part of it catching up on sleep, which is always welcome. I foresee days of little sleep in the months ahead, so let’s hope this one week of sleep sustains me til the year end break. Haha.

Today I also got Jelly a new friend! For those of you not on Twitter, you may not know that I adopted Jelly recently! She’s a wee little terrapin. Heh. And today she got a new home + a new friend! Feeling slightly guilty for getting a new tank so soon after getting the previous one but the plastic window on the cover of the old one broke and was annoying me. *sniff*

Anyway, I can’t decide what to call Jelly’s friend! So far, I’ve narrowed it down to: Jam / Belly / Donut. All suggestions from tweeps.. so cute! How now brown cow?

And yes, photos of them….. soonish. Haha.
Dawnie is their godmom, and she’s going to buy them cuttlebone tomorrow! YAYNESS!

Today I also received a really, really sweet email from someone who read my blog. She’s from Vietnam! *waves to Kim* Heh. It was a simple email, saying Hello, telling me how she chanced upon my blog, how she liked my photos and how she saw me keeping faith in God. It was also a timely and sweet reminder for myself to continue to keep seeking God, not matter what happens.

It was such a simple gesture, but meant so much to me

My silly pink bear is out right now, celebrating Arthur Guinness’ 250th birthday. Haha. I still miss him lots and lots.. meh! I miss hugs!!!!! *sulk*

I came home with multiple bags of snacks today, somehow. I was feeling greedy lah!

And then I realised that my parents stocked up the junk food at home too!!! OMG. There were several bags of chips greeting me when I got home today. I opened up the freezer to get ice cubes and discovered that it was stuffed with ice cream.

ZOMG I don’t get ridiculously fat is bluff one lor!!!!

I got sick of doing work one day when I was over at Pinkie’s place, so I turned my attention to another blank canvas. Ahem.

Pinkie got back from Hong Kong last Friday, and to my utmost delight he came back with presents for me!! *squeal* Hee hee. He got me a Kate Spade wallet from the factory outlet there.. love!

He also got me a bar of Godiva milk chocolate with macadamia nuts!

It was so niceeeee! *MELTS* I opened it after I had my meal, thinking that there was no way I was going to finish it because I was already quite full, but it was so smooth and light that I kinda gobbled it up. The macadamia nuts were roasted.. so lovely! *happy face*

He got himself a packet of fun-sized Milky Way chocolates. He asked if I’d tried that before, and repeatedly told me that it’s his favourite chocolate over the course of a couple of hours. Haha.

He also told me that he got me the bar of Godiva because he was trying to spend a certain amount in the shop to get a discount off his purchases. (My sulky boyfriend very romantic ah??) HAHAHA!

Anyway, I bit into the wonderful bar of chocolate and looked like this:

So I let Pinkie take a bite, and then…… he wanted to exchange his Milky Way for my bar of Godiva. Hahahaha. I want moreeee!! I finished up the bar too quickly.. Meh.

I’ve been feeling randomly excited for the past few hours, for reasons beyond me. And then I suddenly remembered where I’m headed to for dinner tomorrow with Pinkie and his parents… and now I really am *madly* excited. HAHA.

O, and I’ve declared this entire week my birthday! Mostly for Pinkie who wasn’t around when my birthday actually did roll around in February.

Pinkie and I have the oddest conversations. Not complaining obviously, because I hate it when things around me get boring and normal.

Last night when I got home from congre meeting, I wanted to talk so I dropped him a text asking him if he was still playing his game. He replied and told me he’d stopped with Gunbound (YEA I KNOW RIGHT? Hahahaha but okay, he’s abit unreasonably good at it) but was now playing Winning Eleven, soccer game on his PS3:

Point-form update for Tania my stupid online stalker friend who says I don’t update when my boyfriend is finally back in the same country as I am. *stabs*

• When I started watching Hell’s Kitchen with my colleagues about a month or two back, I enjoyed it lots. I started telling Pinkie about it and he sounded like he wanted to watch it as well so I said I’d stop watching and wait for him to get back then start all over again.
• That officially makes me an awesome girlfriend, please. HAHAHA
• We started watching it again this week and it’s damn entertaining! I likey, heh heh. In addition to Sheldon from Big Bang Theory I’m absolutely loving the days when we sit around watching episode after episode, only to take breaks for food.
• Stupid Melvyn the bleddy jiao bin and I take turns tempting and feeding each other’s temptation for food at ungodly hours in order to get the other as fat as one’s self. Of course, if I were as skinny as that stupid boy, I’d be quite pleased. Sheesh.
• I absolutely HATE it when people get my food orders wrong. I know it happens because humans run kitchens, not robots, but it pisses me off to no end because chance are, by the time the food arrives I’m already too damn hungry. To find something wrong with the order upsets me greatly! =(
  
• The craving for some beef and lamb is going to take over my mind!!!!
• It took me exactly 16 minutes to get home from Bukit Batok today. The level at which I was experiencing motion sickness when I got out of the cab was nauseating. Not, however, as nauseating as having your cab driver fart whilst you are trapped in the small space of a taxi. WHY DO THESE THINGS HAPPEN TO ME?? I bet Pinkie laughed out loud when I texted him to tell him about this the other night.
• I am insanely hungry right now. Time check: 430am. Not good. I am also really sleepy. But I’m so hungry. It’s half an hour into McDonald’s breakfast. THIS IS BAD NEWS, PEOPLE.
• Pam, Dawn, Pinkie and I are headed off to Tioman on Monday. Despite random issues, I am still rather thrilled about this! Tioman! Island of snorkeling, cheap food, cheap holiday and everything happy. I love that it’s not too commercialised. Whee!
• Pinkie shifted furniture about in his house while his mum is away in Tibet. She’s going to kill him when she gets back, especially since he took it upon himself to move one of the sofa pieces from the living room into his room so that he can play games in comfort. HAHAHA.
• I called him earlier and his first words were, “I have a catastrophe on my hands. My cupboard won’t fit into my room.” HAHAHAHAHA I had a laughing fit at 3 in the morning! Silly bear! His cupboard had been sitting in the living room for a couple of days, until he suddenly decided to move it back in at 3am. God knows why.
• I think I will go cook instant noodles now. Hello, tummy.

When Pinkie was still in London, he asked what shows I’d like to watch when he got back so that he could erm, source for them. We’d already covered HIMYM, Just Shoot Me, Dharma and Greg and Rules of Engagement last summer holidays.

I suggested The Big Bang Theory because I kept hearing that it was a funny sitcom about a bunch of geeky guys! What’s not to love, given my soft spot for geekiness?

So Pinkie went ahead to get Season 1 of The Big Bang Theory and then informed me a couple of days after that he watched a bit of the first episode and didn’t really like it but he’d watch it with me anyway if I decide that I like it.

We started watching it yesterday and I am immensely proud to discover that my silly boyfriend is a huge closet geek! *squeal* He’s always said he doesn’t want to be geeky cos he doesn’t like it, despite my pleas to perhaps just look the part? Hahahaha!

Let me explain how the discovery of his awesome geeky side came about! We were watching the first episode, and I was finding that I was enjoying it quite a bit. In the middle of some banter on screen about some physics or math theory, Pinkie suddenly hit the Pause button and proceeded to explain to me in detail what they were talking about! OHMYGOD. HAHAHA! Possibly one of the happiest moments of my year. Hahaha!!

We watched a bit more and after realising that a lot of what the characters in the show talk about is what actually interests him, he’s decided that he really does like the show quite abit! YAYNESS!

We’re about 5 episodes or so into the season and it’s much fun watching it with him because he constantly hits the Pause button to explain the theories that are being referred to in the show! I don’t even mind the show getting interrupted because it’s all quite interesting (and the only way I’d find out about these is to have someone patiently explain it to me).. and also because it’s a lot of fun watching him get excited while explaining them to me. Hahaha.

One unfortunate downside to this is that sometimes I just CANNOT understand the theories, and then he hits the Play button again and the female lead, Penny, doesn’t understand as well, much to Sheldon’s disgust. All these led to Pinkie laughing his head off, rendering the show unwatchable because it was paused for the duration of his laughing fit. Pfttt! I don’t think I’d enjoy watching The Big Bang Theory as much as I do with anyone else other than you. :]

Sheldon’s my favourite, by the way. He’s hilarious!!! Well, I’d go insane if he really was my friend in real life but that’s not the point. He’s so cute!

In a bid to score brownie points with my parents, Pinkie bought a whole duck from the famous place in London to bring back for them. AHAHA ok la ok la, he’s being nice! Very nice, actually.. considering how heavy the duck is, and how troublesome it is to bring it back. He has to freeze it and pack it so that it won’t spoil on its journey home to me me me me me!!

I was on the phone with him yesterday, before he went to buy the duck…

jojo: Remember to get them to pack the duck and the sauce separately k.. Otherwise the duck will spoil!

jojo: Oh and yea, make sure that the duck is completely cold before you put it into the freezer too..
